Fall 2021 Series is Here

Note: The added Oct 26 session is an optional meet-up to continue discussions, ask questions, and connect further with attendees

Rainbow Families' Maybe Baby was designed 30 years ago, for prospective LGBTQ+ parents (single, married or partnered) thinking about parenthood and interested in learning more about the options and considerations in building a family.

The series covers a broad range of topics including readiness to be a parent, decision making, overview of creating family through adoption, assisted reproduction and foster care/older child, financial and legal issues, building a support network, considerations for single parenting, interracial and intercultural families, and the joys and challenges of being an LGBTQ+ headed family.  The class is designed to provide a balance of active discussion and sharing, as well as to gain practical, accurate information that helps set the foundation for moving forward.

Like all Rainbow Families programs, this is a safe and welcoming space for all.

Paid attendance for this Maybe Baby series includes one-year complimentary membership to Rainbow Families, with all member benefits included.

When registering:  Add spouse, partners etc by selecting "add guest" so they too will receive emails, zoom links, etc.

Topics/dates subject to change, pending confirmation of speakers and panelists.
No refunds after Aug 5 2021.   This virtual series is available nationally; current presenters are based in the Washington DC region - there may be some rules/practices governing other areas however core principles covered should apply.
